Wolds Wassail
Sat 20th January   (10.00 am to 4.00 pm)
The 4th annual Wolds Wassail will be taking place in the grounds of Sledmere House.

The term wassail is based on some Old English words which translate to mean ‘be healthy’ or ‘be whole’.  A Wassail is a traditional ceremony which seeks to start off the first stirrings of life in the land after winter and to ensure that the next season’s crop of fruit, especially apples and pears, will be bountiful.

Morris dancing, music and 'Coleman's Cider' will all add to the festivities.

If you would like to join in the Wassail, please pre-book on their dedicated Eventbrite page.

Free admission.
