Primrose Ramble
Sun 8th April
A one off opportunity to go on a ramble around unseen parts of the ancient woodland and estate to enjoy the first signs of spring with the arrival of the Primroses

Join us for a 3 mile ramble and go off the beaten track to explore areas of the estate that are usually not accessible to the general public.  With two routes mapped out, you can enjoy a stroll through the primroses in the grounds or take up the 3 mile ramble that leads you out across Sylvia's Grove and through the ancient woodland.  There will be a little 'Tea and Cake stop' at the half way point so you can refuel before you head on your way back.  Take the opportunity to enjoy the first signs of spring and the arrival of the primroses along with the beautiful wildlife and other long established wild plants and flowers. A map of the route will be available from the Farm Shop and the path will be clearly marked. We advise you to arrive no later than 3pm to take full advantage of the ramble.  Normal admission applies
