Garden Events & Tours

Garden tours led by our Head Gardener will take place throughout the open season on the first and third Thursday of each month from May to September, (no need to book in advance.)

May: 2nd and 16th
June: 6th and 20th
July: 4th and 18th
August: 1st and 15th
September: 5th and 19th

Tours start at 1.30 pm and last for approximately 1 and a half hours.

Meet in the Summer House in the Walled Garden.

Please note, there is no additional charge for a garden tour over the usual gardens admission.

Open Farm and Deer Safari Sunday

Sledmere Home Farm joins the national 'Open Farm Sunday' event and provides a chance to tour the farm and deer park. A specially selected range of craft, plant and food stalls will be located in the gardens. No admission charge to gardens or grounds, but donations in lieu are welcomed for RABI (Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution) and Yorkshire Air Ambulance. More Details...

Nostalgia Weekend

Wagoners Centenary Open Day
