The Marquee Lawn

Sledmere House has a marquee lawn situated only a 2 minute walk from the House which is available for hire. Set in the grounds adjacent to St Mary’s Church with beautiful views of the House, Parterre and fountain pond, the marquee lawn is an idyllic setting for a marquee wedding reception or party. The marquee lawn is available until midnight and can be booked in conjunction with hire of Sledmere House or it can also be hired and run independently from Sledmere House.

Sledmere House works closely with Florida Marquees who are based at Driffield and have a deserved reputation for delivering a high quality service. The cost of hiring the marquee lawn independently from Sledmere house is £1500.00 including VAT. The cost for hiring the marquee lawn when booked in conjunction with hiring Sledmere House for a civil ceremony, drinks reception or meal is £1200.00 including VAT.
