Sledmere House provides a wonderful venue for weddings, conferences and many other special occasions. We take pride in offering a custom made package to meet your own special requirements. The House and Grounds are not normally open to visitors on Saturdays allowing wedding and other parties to enjoy exclusive use.

We are licensed to hold civil wedding ceremonies in three of the principal state rooms; The Library, Main Hall and Drawing Room. Full of history and charm, Sledmere House provides a perfect setting and backdrop for any wedding photo album. Experienced staff will guide and assist you throughout your day and the Events Co-ordinator will work alongside you throughout the whole process, from your initial enquiry right through to the finer details of your wedding day.

Your wedding day should be one of the happiest and most memorable days of your life and finding the right venue is a very important feature of your day. Sledmere House is the ideal wedding venue for couples who are looking to be married in a place which they will never forget.

Sledmere House & Gardens is closed to the public on saturdays (except bank holiday weekends) so you will have full and exclusive use of the House & Gardens.
Sledmere House is blessed with a wide selection of rooms and settings for your big day.
Use our marquee lawn hire service to create a fantastic outdoor setting for your wedding reception.
Sledmere House & Grounds is also available for corporate and event hire - make an impression with unique surroundings
