Sledmere Gold Card Friends

Sign up for only £2.00 on your first visit of the season and benefit from free or discounted entry for the rest of the year.

Once you are a Gold Card Friend, you will be able to visit on any normal day free of charge and you will even receive 10% discount for some special events.

Friends will receive a newsletter with details of events, special offers and updates about the House and Gardens and they will also be invited to an exclusive Tea Party in the Sledmere House Dining Room.

(Please note that the £2.00 membership fee is in addition to the cost of a first visit around the House and Gardens, therefore the total cost to become a Gold Card Friend is £10.00 per adult or £9.50 per concession.)

Gold Card Membership – Benefits

When can I use my Gold Card?

Once signed up, you can receive free entry on every visit to Sledmere House and Grounds during the 2013 season, (excluding some special event days.) To receive free entry, your Gold Card must be presented at the Gift Shop every time you make a visit and free entry will only be granted to the valid card holder, therefore a signature will be required before a free ticket is granted.

Discount for Special Events

Details of special offers will be circulated throughout the season. To qualify for discount, please show your card and provide a signature when purchasing tickets on site, or quote your Gold Card number (located in the top right of your card) and your name when ordering over the telephone/website where possible. For postal applications, please provide your Gold Card number and a signature on the application form.

Gold Card Members’ Tea Party

Gold Card members will be invited to an exclusive Tea Party at Sledmere House during the summer. The Tea Party will be held one afternoon when the House and Gardens are normally closed to the public and only Gold Card members will be invited.

For a small fee, Gold Card members will be provided with tea, sandwiches and cake which will be served in the Dining Room at Sledmere House whilst the famous pipe organ is played in the Hall. Invitations and further information will be sent out in due course.
