Book Your Tickets

Parkland, Gardens and Farm Park tickets -

You may wish to book your Parkland, Gardens and Farm Park ticket in advance to ensure entry during busy periods.

Sledmere Friends members and Yorkshire’s Great Houses, Castles & Gardens cardholders do not need to pre-book their Parkland, Gardens and Farm Park tickets.

Your Parkland, Gardens and Farm Park ticket gains you all day access to:

  • The stunning walled garden
  • Acres of beautiful, historic grounds
  • The Rare Breed Farm Park with all it’s new arrivals and familiar friendly faces
  • The historic stable block to visit the Sledmere Shire Horses
  • Our adventure play area

Sledmere House guided tour tickets -

Sledmere House is now closed for the season and will reopen in mid-March, with tours running through until late September.

Guided tours - Guided tours take place on varied dates throughout the opening season so please see the booking calendar for availability.

There are two tours per day starting at 11.30am or 1.45pm. There are a limited number of tickets for each guided tour so we ask you to book in advance to avoid disappointment. You can also purchase tickets from our Ticket Office on the day should tickets still be available. We kindly ask you to please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your tour time.

Sledmere Friends members and Yorkshire’s Great Houses, Castles and Gardens card holders will need to pre-book - please select the Sledmere Friends members tickets online, and bring your membership cards with you on the day.

Please note, you do not need a ticket to visit:

  • The Coach House Cafe
  • The Farm Shop
  • The Woodyard home, gift and garden store
  • The Garden Barn in Summer, The Christmas Barn in Winter
  • The Tin Roof Cafe (opening times vary)

We encourage you to bring your own ball games, bikes etc to enjoy in the grounds.

Dogs are also very welcome – we just ask for them to be kept on leads.

We are open throughout the year on Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00am until 5.00pm as well as Bank Holiday Mondays, and Mondays during the summer holidays, ready for you to explore and enjoy!
