Bringing the best of Art, History, Architecture & Gardens to Life

Visiting Sledmere

Sledmere is a jewel nestling at the heart of a beautiful traditional English Country Estate

Visitors have been welcomed to Sledmere by the Sykes family for over 250 years. Situated in the centre of the Yorkshire Wolds, here is a place to eat, shop, walk, cycle or immerse yourself in the charms of stunning gardens, soak up the atmosphere of a much loved ‘stately’ home and explore the stables which are once again home to working horses.

Please note that we are no longer participating in the HHA Friends Free Access Scheme for 2017.

Holders of a current HHA Friends membership card are however entitled to a 20% discount on their entry price (but as usual not applicable on events days).  Alternatively, the Sledmere Gold Card is available for £5.00 and then gives free access for the rest of the year (in addition to the cost of your first full price ticket) and we think this represents excellent value despite not being valid on event days.
