>   Is access to Sledmere House disabled friendly?

Yes, for the most part disabled friendly. A lift is usually available for the first floor access. If in any doubt please contact us in advance.

>   When is the Organ played?

Thursday & Sunday 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm

>   Are dogs allowed in the Grounds?

Yes, but they must be kept on leads at all time

>   Are Wheelchairs available?

There are two manual wheelchairs. It is advisable to book them in advance of your visit

>   Is parking free?

Yes, all parking is free of charge

>   How far is the Car Park from the House?

The Car Park is very close to the Shop and the Café and approximately 100 metres from the House

>   How far is the Coach Park from the House?

The Coach Park is opposite the main gates and is approximately 150 metres from the House

>   What attractions are free to enter?

The Terrace Café, the Shop, the Wagoners’ Museum, the Exhibition Room and the Triton Gallery

>   Are you open on Saturdays?

No, the House & Grounds are closed on Saturdays (open Bank Holiday Saturdays)

>   How can I be kept informed of forthcoming events?

By asking to be put on our mailing list or join our Gold Card Scheme
